Tips for Social Media


Social Media is a great way to find new clients and interact with existing ones. It’s one of the fastest growing trends and can be easily accessed from phones and computers.

Blogs

  • include key words and phrases that your customers may be searching
  • use images
  • utilize bullet-points
  • keep it as short as possible but full of information


Facebook Pages

  • like other pages
  • provide interesting links and content


Tumblr

  • follow back
  • tag your posts accordingly
  • frequently add content
  • install an easy-to-navigate theme. Make sure the “like” and “reblog” links are visible
  • “like” and “reblog” other users’ posts
  • include a higher image to text post ratio. Try photos, infographics and videos


Twitter

  • include links
  • follow back
  • retweet
  • tweet around 4pm for the best chance of being retweeted
  • initiate conversations
  • include relevant hashtags


All

  • provide links to your social media sites through your website
  • update frequently
  • have relevant and interesting information
