Finding Free Photos

Finding free photos without uptight copyright restrictions can be tough. Luckily we've found a few websites that offer free images for your use. Just be sure you check the copyright restrictions on the photo. Many of these images are free with a simple request that you provide credit to the photographer.

1. Stock Xchange: most of the available photos are free however some require a fee. Just be sure to check.
2. Morgue File: while the photos are free to use, most require you to ask for the photographer's permission before using it and/or to link the photo back to the original source.
3. Free Foto: offers over 100,000 free images. These photos usually require you to link the photo. In addition, most of the photos feature a small watermark.
4. Dreamstime: this website offers a wide variety of royalty-free stock photos. Some photos do require a fee starting at $0.26
5. Flickr: the popular photo-sharing website offers a section for free images. There are guidelines as to who can use the free images and attributions. However, there's a wide variety of quality photos to choose from.
